Dick Norman at the University of Utah ma kes a silicon array for the brain interface.

John Donohue, was on NPR show www.Sciencefriday.com during the second hour 3-22-02 discussing the successful research with Reeses Monkeys using brain wave mapping to enable the monkeys to control a computer interface.

Excerpt from the Biography of Nicholas Hatsopoulos Assistant Professor (Research) of Neuroscience:
"Ultimately, this research may lead to technologies that will allow people with spinal injuries to use brain signals to control either a cursor on a computer screen, a robot arm, or even their own arm, thereby bypassing the injured spinal cord. Currently, we are developing a robot arm whose direction of movement can be controlled by the brain signals we have recorded."
