2006 - Annual Message to the Interstate Traveler Company, LLC

It’s that time of year again, when we all have a chance to re-evaluate our past efforts and to plan out the coming new year.  Interstate Traveler Company, LLC, has had a remarkable and historically significant 2006 on top of the great work of 2005.

We have had the honor of being featured as the center piece for a multitude of important events, including meetings with the Department of Energy, featured speaker-ship at the IAEI, we’ve been invited to and attended public meetings on critical transportation infrastructure decision, made detailed presentations to assembled groups of leaders in commercial, municipal and community based organizations, and continued to refine our public image and our private plans.  Among the most significant get-togethers, were presentations to the Transportation Club of Detroit, the Detroit Intermodal Association and Ocean Freight Association, the International Association of Electrical Inspectors (Paul Revere Chapter Cambridge Mass and we were a focal point of an ACSA original white paper published in the highly prestigious IAEI Journal), the City of Detroit, City of Orlando, three Congressional Districts in Florida, the New Jersey Clean Energy Project of the NJ Board of Public Utilities c/o Rutgers University in New Brunswick, Orlando-Sanford International Airport, the Toledo Port Authority, the Central Florida Sierra Club and many, many others.   During these years we were discovered by the American Computer Science Association and were awarded the Sir Isaac Newton Award on July, 11th 2005 for “Most Valuable New Technology” which has helped the world to understand the importance of the Hydrogen Super Highway.

Since the first day this momentous work began, our representatives have traveled great distances and made presentations all over the world. We have even met with representatives of the newly organized Nation of Iraq (the Coalition Provisional Government), representatives of Oman, Peru, Brazil, Jordan and countries in Europe and the Far East.   This year we held hundreds of meetings, now and in the past endured tens of thousands of miles of travel, thousands of hours of telephone time and tens of thousands of e-mail, written mail and faxed correspondences. We have spent over 5 plus years building this company into so significant a presence in this foundling industry that we are even beginning to experience the usual combativeness from competing interests in legacy energy and transportation. Even today, the work of Forrest and Chuck Meek who traveled the farthest, all the way to Beijing in 2004 has had a resonating effect: they laid the corner stone of our operations for China and her neighboring countries as our official representatives to a very interested Chinese Government.  From Detroit to Toledo to Chicago to Minneapolis to Seattle to LA to Carson City to Orlando to Boston to Washington DC to Lima to Beijing and so many other places we made presentations to decision makers to make our progress.

Of all the meetings we have had, a chance meeting back in 2004 stands out in particular. I was late to the Post Office arriving just before 5pm and they let me in to mail a packet on the Traveler to someone somewhere.  The lady in the lobby ahead of me was stamping a large pile of envelopes and made some off handed comments about traffic... and you guessed it, I said:  "Hey, I am actually trying to do something about that..."   The lady was none other than Mrs. Marla Finfrock, who within a short period of time arranged for her husband and an associate to meet me and talk about the future.  As it turns out her husband Mr. Timm J. Finfrock had a Ph.D. in robotics integration, and it took him only moments to realize the simplicity of the system and the magnitude of its effect upon the global economy.   By the spring of 2005 Timm had begun to dedicate a full time effort to assist the Interstate Traveler Company in its mission.  At great personal expense and time away from family, dozens of important meetings were held, dragons were slayed, and progress was made in cementing our foundations together.  In the spring of 2006 Timm was made the Chairman of the Interstate Traveler as a result of his incredible dedication to the company's growth in 2005 and during 2006 we have doubled the number of Partners that have subscribed to membership in our Limited Liability Company and received multiple commitments for funding. For these and many other reasons, the wreath of legend rests upon the honored shoulders of Chairman Timm Finfrock.

As mentioned above, our accomplishments in 2006 have laid yet another vital and crucial layer in the foundation, allowing us in 2007 to continue to build our growing company and to face the challenges of building the Hydrogen Super Highway with even greater alliances than before, with more partners and supporters than ever before and with the utmost possibility of attaining our success goal: raising the economic and resource needs essential to commence the building of the first revolutionary leg of the Traveler, and getting on with the mass production of it.

Nothing can be more central to the success of the company beyond the ideas and mission at the center of its plan, than the people who carry the torch to light our way into the future.  We have attracted some of the best managerial talent ever forged by the US Auto Industry, Labor Unions and Government who have committed to build the first mile of millions right here in Detroit.  Collectively, let us welcome our three newest Board officers:

William C. Brooks        -Chief Executive Officer

Akua Budu-Watkins      -Chief Administration Officer

William Dennis            -Chief Financial Officer

Already each of these new officers have put in hundreds of hours of work to get ready for 2007, and have been at the negotiating table with a multitude of independent investors and government officials.   I am convinced that we will see the ground breaking for the first mile of millions within the year.

As a closing remark for 2006, I want to first say thank you for all the hard work and dedication invested by so many people to carry the company forward, not just here in Michigan, but everywhere around the world of our fellow Travelers are working to build our company.

All the best to you and your families,

 Very Truly Yours,

Justin Sutton
