The Interstate Traveler Hydrogen Super Highway (HSH) is more than just a high speed rail system;  it is an aggregated cluster of municipal conduit built to serve the needs of an ever expanding population. 

The ITC Rail Conduit Cluster  presents a concept to bring about a growing construction project that creates trunk lines for public utilities while simultaneously creating a switchable high speed maglev rail system or Automated Guideway Transit system (AGT).   The efficiency of this pre-manufactured and modular network of transit and municipal supply lines is unrivaled by any other product on the market today.

Where existing municipal utility systems are in operation, the ITC Rail Conduit Cluster and Utility Substations  of the HSH will provide an efficient redundancy as a back up energy supply and energy storage system, and where infrastructure does not exist, the HSH will provide these essential services while generating municipal revenue to support governmental organizations.

There are three primary forms of Conduit Cluster that can be installed individually or in complement:  A cluster embedded in a ribbon of concrete or otherwise buried under ground and a cluster embedded in the Central Support of the ITC Rail.

  1. The extruded concrete ribbon Conduit Cluster concept is installed using a moving extrusion machine that takes solid piping of various sizes and materials and encases them high grade concrete.  As the extrusion machine moves along, the conduit cluster grows in length.  This installation can be used as a foundation to the ITC Rail or may be used as a sidewalk installation to replace existing sidewalks in urban areas. 
  2. The installation of the Conduit Cluster without maglev rails under ground to supply services to areas where an overhead system are not desired.
  3. The ITC Rail Conduit Cluster that creates the HSH where the conduit is fully encased in the steel plating supporting the maglev rail components that create the HSH while creating an armor plated distribution system for all the other subsystems.

The Utility Substations that will be installed at intervals, or as required, will provide a networked redundancy of pumping stations, electrical conditioning and load balancing, hydrogen production, hydrogen storage and distribution, potable water generation, water storage and distribution, and others, with optional liquid waste processing.

The ITC Rail magnetic levitation and propulsion system provides a truly frictionless system using slotted linear motors that wrap around the rail to prevent derailment and enable large transport vehicles.

Perhaps the most innovative aspect of the ITC Rail is the suspension system which provides real time adjustments to maximize passenger comfort while simultaneously providing lift for the car as it moves forward by raising the nose of the ITC Rail Car just the right amount to provide lift and reduce the amount of energy required to levitation. 

By using stainless steel for all exposed structural materials, and with full use of the best materials available for the remainder of the components to ensure durability and longevity, the ITC presents the best investment opportunities of this century, and when built on all 54,000 miles of Eisenhower Interstate Highway in the United States will create the largest jobs creation program in U.S. history.
