After that, we will most likely have a system that will paint the pictures in our minds eye with radio waves.

Today, our most advanced brain scanning tools can map areas of concentrated thought that can be translated into logic commands to control basic flight simulators.

In ten years, we will be able to witness the firing of every neuron in the brain so that we may map exactly what the eyes perceive and subsequently impress upon the visual cortex.

The day will come when computer systems will then provide a visual overlay directly to the visual cortex, by exciting the same neurons in the same order as the natural experience provides from neuronal input of the retina.

But this is pure speculation on my part.
