1997- current

Communication Advisor to the Founder of the Interstate Traveler Project, which is a maglev expandable, rail system driven by hydrogen and solar power; for human and automobile passengers. www.InterstateTraveler.us

National Marketing Executive for Closed Captioning Services Inc. providing broadcast quality, multilingual captioning options focusing on government (municipal, state and federal).

Ford Motor Company - Training Series Modules for the Technical Library for the Electrical Components of the Expedition and Navigator;  

ACT Computers Inc nationally marketed voice recognition technology; 

Salo Aviation Enterprises –advisory business development and community outreach; 

New Service and Research and Business Plan Development for entrepreneurial companies; to develop presentations for Investment Venture Capital Proposals. 

1994 - 1997

Directed the creation of the Statewide State of Michigan, Government Television Network, and MGTV.

Functioned as Project Manager, Network Administrator and Public Relations for the state government.

Developed and administrated the fiscal process;

Managed and hosted the Coordination of a combination of in-house and out-sourced technical network design teams.

1983 - 1994

Southwestern Oakland Cable Commission, representing the Cities of Farmington Hills, Novi and Farmington. Functioned as the Executive Director.

Administered and planned the contract development for a full spectrum of interactive television network services.

Designed the concept for public use including education, government and business with support of eight community committees.

Promoted, marketed and trained the staff and end users: nurtured 400 volunteers.

 

Additional Experience

Columnist (weekly for 11 years) for the Observer and Eccentric Newspaper chain and Hometown Slieger Newspapers. 1983-1994 The columns featured the development of technology and the people behind the community services. 

Coordinator for programming aspects of Regional and National Technical Conferences. 

Board of Director for NATOA (Telecommunications) and NFLCP (currently known as: Alliance for Community TV), National organizations. 

National Co-Editor for NATOA NEWS. National government readership on corporate and government public and private communication and telecommunication activities. 

Public Speaker – engagements throughout the United States on ‘Cable Television Franchise development for resulting Community Services.’

Community College Professor co-teaching a class on ‘Studio and Facility development and management’ for Oakland Community College.

Public Relations for Plymouth Township and development of cable television contract relations and Leased Access Channel development. 

Office Management for: Law Firm, Matheson Bieneman, Schuler & Ewald; and also for Clawson Medical Auxiliary Health Services of Speech, Physical and Occupational Therapy.
